Meet Ruichang Guo, New Postdoctoral Fellow

Ruichang Guo received his Ph.D. degree in Mining Engineering from Virginia Tech. His research interests include multiphase flow in porous media, geological carbon sequestration, underground hydrogen storage, machine learning, hydraulic fracturing, and horizontal drilling technology. He worked as a senior researcher on ultradeep horizontal drilling technology in SINOPEC for six years. He also holds a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Ph.D. degree in petroleum engineering from China University of Petroleum. He serves as an Associate Editor for the journal of Geoenergy Science and Engineering. He is an active member of AGU.
