Description

Sediment-hosted deposits of the clastic-dominated type are a major source of zinc and lead. Geodynamic modeling can help understand the conditions under which these deposits formed in ancient extensional systems. In this talk, I will demonstrate how a modeled continental rift’s type and its distance to a craton edge can affect a system's favorability for deposit formation.
