Abstract

All four components of the recently released Strategic Plan for the Jackson School of Geosciences will be described and discussed. Particular attention will be paid to the research and educational components of the plan.  The implementation strategies for its three major research initiatives will presented and the role of the Associate Dean for Research in facilitating these strategies will be described.
