Carlos Uroza
I am a senior geologist with experience in regional geological analysis, play assessment, prospect maturation, seismic interpretation, subsurface mapping, well-log analysis, well correlation, seismic stratigraphic analysis, facies modeling, core and outcrop description and interpretation, reservoir characterization, rock quality assessment, and well drilling operations.
I have a solid background in the application of sedimentology and stratigraphy both at regional and field scale, in shallow-marine and deep-water clastic systems. Also, can generate integrated geological models to be used in basin modeling, prospect maturation, reservoir characterization, and assessment of geological sites for CO₂ storage.
The professional skills that I learned in exploration and development of hydrocarbon reservoirs are now applied in the field of geological carbon sequestration and geothermal energy.
