Reservoir Characterization Research Laboratory

Join us for the 2025 RCRL core workshop, where we will explore a range of examples from the San Andres reservoir, one of the primary producing intervals in the Permian Basin. This interval supports significant hydrocarbon production and is a key target for saltwater disposal and emerging carbon capture, utilization, and storage (CCUS) initiatives.

On Day 2, the workshop shifts focus to the unconventional realm, offering a hands-on examination of diverse slope and basinal cores from across the basin's most exciting plays.

On Day 3, join us at The Ion Igloo Immersive Space, where we will demonstrate state-of-the-art visualization of San Andres in core and outcrop models from 9 a.m. to noon. It should be an awesome experience!

Check the RCRL events section for sign up and agenda.
