Bureau of Economic Geology Enters into New Partnership with the Texas Water Journal

January 26, 2023

The Bureau of Economic Geology is excited to announce a new publishing partnership with the distinguished online Texas Water Journal (TWJ), a peer-reviewed, indexed, web-based, and multidisciplinary publication on water resources management, research, and policy. With this agreement, both organizations will undertake mutual promotional activities. In addition, the Bureau will assist TWJ by editing articles, ensuring the highest possible quality of published work.

“Water is only becoming more critical to Texas with time,” noted the Bureau’s Dr. Ken Wisian, Associate Director, Environmental Division. “Teaming with the TWJ, bringing our world-class expertise and supporting capabilities to bear, perfectly aligns with our mission to serve the public and is a win-win for all stakeholders in Texas.”

The Texas Water Journal was established in 2007 and is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) currently publishing TWJ in conjunction with Texas A&M University’s Texas Water Resources Institute. You can find out more about the Texas Water Journal and register to receive the publication on its website, http://texaswaterjournal.org.
