My Research Interests
My Ph.D. focused on the anatomy and architecture of deep-water clastic sedimentary systems developed in unstable and complex basin margins due to inherited tectonic and depositional relief using field and subsurface data.
Since joining the Bureau of Economic Geology in December 2022, my research has focused on the heterogeneity of evaporitic sequences and their evaluation as potential hydrogen storage sites. For that, I have used core and well data and complemented these with a range of analytical techniques such as X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), energy dispersive spectroscopy (EDS), and fluid inclusion analysis.
