Abstract
A milestone in climate policy was achieved in 2015 with the Paris Agreement under the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). This talk will introduce and provide updates on the Paris Agreement and the roles of CCUS in achieving its ambitions for greenhouse gas emission reductions in the context of sustainable development. This talk will also highlight BEG’s contributions within the UNFCCC.
