There are numerous facies-sensitive and fluid-sensitive attributes other than instantaneous amplitude, phase, and frequency that can be extracted from seismic data. One example is continuity, which measures lateral variations in reflection waveshape along a defined surface. Other examples are statistical properties that define significant variations in reflection character along a defined analysis window.
This module covers only the basic concepts of the primary attributes (amplitude, phase, frequency) that should always be analyzed in any reservoir characterization effort.
