Analysis of Initial Fluid Conditions for Reservoir Characterization | |||||||||||||
Abrupt changes in water character often indicate the presence of sealing faults. Normal faults can be found in conjugate pairs. Conjugate faults are created simultaneously and form at 60-to 30-degree angles from each other. A stiff diagram is a graphical representation of cation and anion concentration within a water sample. Note on the map that there are flag-shaped diagrams and tornado-shaped diagrams indicating differences in water chemistry.
