| Hemipelagic sediment: This is fine-grained material derived from the platform and resedimented by suspension into the slope and basinal environment (Cook and Mullins, 1983). Rock types include finely laminated to bioturbated mudstone and wackestone with deep-water fauna and/or transported shallow-water fauna.
