MODERN WORLD OCCURRENCES

In this step you will explore modern world occurrences of carbonate development using the map below.

Be sure to tour all the scenes modern carbonate areas. Look for commonalities as well as differences between the areas. Are there different patterns of reef development? What are the dimensions of the different carbonate features? Do the features vary laterally?
