Reserve growth analysis
Resource assessment and reserve evaluation
Resource economics

Areas of expertise include knowledge of geological, engineering, and economic issues concerning the petroleum and mineral industry in terms of exploration, production, and economic activities. Major current research interests include (1) geological characterization and delineation of plays; 2) determination of plays having the greatest reserve growth potential and trend analysis to determine the possible variables controlling reserve growth; (3) determination of undiscovered oil and gas resources on a national, regional, play, and field level; (4) deterministic and probabilistic reserve estimation; (5) risk analysis; (6) production analysis; and (7) economic evaluation of discovered and undiscovered resources.
