The country is facing the
simultaneous challenges of:
• an expanding energy appetite
• an increasing dependence on imported oil and
• an increasing demand for energy that produces no negative environmental effects
Energy decisions for the
country should be based on good science, there are many choices to be made in
light of supply, resource distribution, and environmental concerns.
Will look at what our energy
resource assessments have taught us that will be useful in exploration for
future energy resources- especially natural gas
