This research is the result of collaboration between the Bureau and a team led by the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory to explore the many aspects of geologic sequestration as a mechanism for the reduction of atmospheric emission of greenhouse gases. Co-authors are C. Doughty, K. Pruess, and S. M. Benson of Lawrence Berkeley National Lab; Paul R. Knox of the Bureau of Economic Geology; and C. T. Green of the University of California, Hydrologic Sciences.
