Dr. Mark Walsh is a Project Manager in the Bureau of Economic Geology at The University of Texas at Austin. He received his B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana, his M.S. degree in Chemical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin, and his Ph.D. in Petroleum Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin.
He previously worked for Amoco Production Co., Baker-Hughes (Gaffney-Cline), Wapiti Oil and Gas, was a professor of Petroleum Engineering at Texas A&M University, and has 34 years of experience. He has over 28 technical publications. He is author of a chapter in the Petroleum Engineering Handbook of the Society of Petroleum Engineers and is co-author of an undergraduate textbook on Reservoir Engineering.
