For more than ten years, my work has been to develop novel seismic exploration techniques. My PhD research and subsequent professional experience were focused on seismic imaging. Since 2012, I have been working on seismic diffractions (diffraction imaging) to complement actual exploration projects with information on fractures, fluid saturation, lithology variations. I analyzed the Eagle Ford Shale and Austin Chalk in West Texas, Vaca Muerta Shale in Argentina, Bazhenov Shale and carbonates in Russia, Grosmont bitumen carbonate in Canada, and shallow seafloor sediments in the Gulf of Mexico (GOM).
In addition, I am experienced in processing, imaging, and interpretation of multicomponent seismic. The focus of my current research is direct S-waves generated by vertical-force sources. I have extensive experience with Vertical Seismic Profiling (VSP).
I started my career in 2005 as an Application Programmer with Paradigm. This was a great opportunity to get advanced programming skills. I routinely write simple codes and scripts as well as develop sophisticated applications for parallel computing (HPC).
