November, 2008

On November 5, Steve Ruppel presented a day-long workshop to more than 25 geologists, engineers, and managers of ConocoPhillips in Houston. Focus of the workshop was the Leonardian carbonate system in the Permian Basin. The goal of this and future workshops given under the auspices of the Permian Basin Geological Synthesis Project that Steve is directing is to provide PBGSP member geoscientists and engineers with a detailed perspective on hydrocarbon reservoir successions in the  Permian Basin.
