Climatic Warming of Atlantic Intermediate Waters

Abstract:

We compare temperature and salinity data taken in the same locations but decades apart to infer a warming of about 0.5°C per century in the intermediate (1000- to 2000- meter) layer of the Atlantic Ocean.
