Abstract
2020 is a strange year, with lots of unexpected events in our world. As we move through the crisis of pandemic and oil market crush and cope with direct impacts on our lives and industry, the bigger question is how this double black swan event would create fundamental shifts in the way our world and our industry work into the future? What are the plausible scenarios that would be important and impactful to energy industry, and our research forward? This talk takes the chance to examine the interruptive changes in recent months and discuss the longer-term implications on industry and economic system after the great shutdown of 2020.
