The 4th International Symposium on Submarine Mass Movements and Their Consequences was hosted by the Bureau of Economic Geology, Jackson School of Geosciences in Austin, Texas on November 8-11, 2009.

This event was held in the Big Tex Auditorium located in the Pickle Research Center of the University of Texas at Austin. There are two main entrances on the Pickle Research Center, the north entrance on Braker Ln1 and the east entrance on Burnet Rd2. For more details about the location of the facility please visit

  1. Braker Ln. access is CLOSED for visitors. Please use the Burnet Rd. access.
  2. Burnet Rd. access is open during normal working hours and also after hours and during weekends.

Both entrances can be used to access the facility.
