GeoFluids Consortium History

GeoFluidsIII Website

The GeoFluids Consortium was created by Dr. Peter Flemings at the Penn State University. The consortium was originally a three-year contract. GeoFluidsI ran from 1999-2001, GeoFluidsII from 2002-2004, and GeoFluidsIII ended in 2008 after Dr. Flemings and his research team moved to the University of Texas at Austin.

The current consortium will be led by Dr. Flemings with support from Dr. Ruarri Day-Stirrat from UT, Dr. Jack Germaine from MIT, and Dr. Derek Elsworth from Penn State. It will run for 10 years, with the option of withdrawing at any time.

For more information on the current consortium see the Overview and Executive Summary section of the website.
