Workshop on Mudrock Resedimentation

2-hour workshop held Feb. 17 following the formal GeoFluids meeting. The goal of this workshop will be threefold:
• Review the equipment and techniques for creating specimens of resedimented mudrock;
• Discuss concerns and insights concerning testing resedimented materials; and
• Initiate an inter-laboratory testing program for resedimented material.

Our hope is to get people to the point where they can make resedimented materials in their own laboratories, increase the comfort level of using resedimented material properties, and improve our understanding of the variables involved in testing.
