Research Interests
My interests are carbon sequestration, enhanced oil recovery, and energy and the environment. I hope to pursue a career in petroleum engineering.

Current Projects
I am currently doing research for the Lower Colorado River Authority (LCRA) to evaluate potential enhanced oil recovery (EOR) opportunities and the potential use of brine injection around Fayette County. My supervisor for the project is David Carr, who specializes in petroleum geology. The specific work that I am involved in is creating and maintaining database with well logs, and making cross sections for farther analysis of geologic formations.

Education
I graduated from Elsik High school as an Honor Student in 2008. In high school I was involved with Leo/Lions club and National Honor Society and I played on the varsity tennis team. I am pursuing my B.S. in Petroleum Engineering at the University of Texas, with expected graduation in 2012. I am member of Society of Petroleum Engineers and Society of Woman in Engineering.
