Fox Hills, Lower Hell Creek, Powder River Basin (12c)

Comments on Geologic Parameters

12c CO2 Solubility Brine: Formation Water Salinity:

The Fox Hills Sandstone typically has water-salinity values under 3,000 ppm (U. S. Geological Survey, 1996). Greatest salinity values occur in the deep, west and southwest parts of the basin.
