'Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the DAS
The scientists were working, ensuring no data loss.
The stockings were hung by the U-tube with care,
In hopes that the last tracer would soon be there;
These scientists weren’t nestled all snug in their beds,
Instead seismic and chemical data danced in their heads;
And GCCC’s Jeimin Lu in his hard hat of maize,
Had just settled in for a long computer gaze.
Then, to Rebecca Smyth’s eyes appeared a sure sign
The mass spec readings indicated methane on the decline,
And she was heard to exclaim, in the fluorescent light
"Happy Christmas to all, and to all a good-night."
