Mars
is the next frontier of space exploration. Learn how scientists
and engineers plan for future missions to explore Mars and investigate
the mysteries of the red planet with someone who has spent his career
at the forefront of Mars research exploration!
|
 |
What do
we know about this planet where rivers once flowed, volcanoes
erupted, and lakes and seas may once have harbored life? |
 |
What happened
to make Mars the cold, dry desert world of today? |
 |
What steps
are taken to make sure a mission succeeds and why do some missions
still fail? |
 |
How are
all Mars missions--successes and failures--contributing toward
future human exploration of Mars? |
