9 Hydrocarbon Production:

Several hydrocarbon exploration wells have been drilled in the Atlantic coastal plain without success (Anderson, 1948; Kasabach and Scudder, 1961; Manheim and Horn, 1968; Maher and Applin, 1971; Trapp and others, 1984; Benson and others, 1985). There is no production in the area.
