Comments on Geologic Parameters

16 Rock Mineralogy:
Fox Hills mineralogy data from X-ray diffraction analysis were presented in Henderson (1985; his tables 18, 19). Dominant minerals in the Fox Hills Sandstone are quartz, albite, microcline, muscovite, calcite, and dolomite. Clay cements consist of kaolinite, smectite, and chlorite.
