Comments on Geologic Parameters

15 Water Chemistry:
Gill and others (1963), Trapp and others (1984), and Hansen (1984) provided the results of chemical analyses of water from the lower Potomac aquifer. Their results indicate that waters are saline (>20,000 mg/L dissolved solids), although the chemistry varies. Their data are presented in the GIS.
