Comments on Geologic Parameters

12c Formation Water Salinity:

Ortiz and others (1993) presented a subsea-depth map of waters containing 10,000 mg/L of TDS provided by the Alabama Department of Environmental Management (ADEM). Although this map covers only the Alabama side of the Black Warrior Basin, it can be combined with the depth map (1pottsville) in the GIS data base to infer salinity throughout the Pottsville Formation.
