Ground-water-flow direction is typically determined by first determining the hydraulic-head of ground water in the interval in a series of wells. The distribution of hydraulic-head data from the Lagarto/Oakville Formation must be compiled and potentiometric surface and gradients defined to determine ground-water flow and direction.
