The CEE is not a degree granting academic department. However, the CEE offers a number of opportunities as outlined below. If you are
interested in energy business, economics, policy and related topics, these
opportunities are for you!
Student Internships at the CEE
The CEE occasionally hosts interns. These positions are available to those who are interested in learning about the energy value chain economics, regulation and policy via working on Institute projects and interacting with CEE staff and network. Applicants with some familiarity with energy issues, experience in the energy industry or exposure to energy courses are preferred. Acceptance also depends on the project load of the Institute during the desired period of internship.
The following conditions apply.
- The intern must apply to the CEE directly, through a department or college at the university, or be recommended by an Institute Corporate Partner.
- Foreign applicants for internship must satisfy all U.S. rules and regulations for visa and short-term residence.
- It is required that the interns have support from his/her sponsoring organization. The Center can provide limited support and only in certain circumstances.
- Neither the CEE nor the college or university assumes any liability associated with the term of an intern's residence.
