Ghanaian Partners Attend New Era

Last year, at the very early stage of the CEE-ISSER partnership, four delegates from Ghana attended CEE's flagship program "New Era in Oil, Gas & Power Value Creation." (Read article about their visit). The visit has proved beneficial not only because of the exposure the delegates received during their two-week stay in Houston. It has reinforced the support for the RCEER's future activities. New Era alumni from Ghana have become mentors for the RCEER.

This year, in May 2005, two more delegates from Ghana attended New Era program - Mr. Ezekiel A. Clottey, currently a research assistant at the Resource Center, and Mr. Joseph Essandoh-Yeddu, Head of the Planning and Policy Division at the Energy Commission (EC). Both have and will continue to contribute to the operation of the Resource Center.
