USAID ENERGY SECTOR GOVERNANCE GRANT IN GHANA

RCEER Conducts a Study for the Ministry of Energy of Ghana

The Ministry of Energy commissioned RCEER to study socioeconomic impacts of petroleum deregulation in Ghana. The study was completed in a very short period of time but to satisfaction of the Ministry. We understand that the study is being used extensively inside the Ministry and was shared by outside consultants, including the representatives of the IMF. RCEER also participated in the Petroleum Deregulation Workshop organized by the Ministry and presented on international experiences with deregulating prices of petroleum products.
